New Article About Urban Teachers in The Dallas Morning News

The Dallas Morning News article “Dallas ISD looks at importing Urban Teachers, a ‘grueling’ residency for young educators,” discusses a potential new partnership between Urban Teachers and the Dallas Independent School District (DISD). On March 10, DISD’s board will discuss bringing Urban Teachers' pipeline of effective new teachers to their schools. In the article, DISD board member Miguel Solis says: “We understand we need to increase both the level of rigor from the training standpoint and support for our educators once they’re in the classroom.
