Baltimore Speaker Series: An Intimate Conversation with Malene Bell

Urban Teachers invites you to join us for an intimate conversation with Malene Kai Bell of the Community Conferencing Center as she speaks about Self-Care For Teachers.

Malene Kai Bell is an expert in instructional leadership, coaching, and professional development. At the Community Conferencing Center, she has dedicated herself to helping others ‘make meaning’ by deepening interpersonal skill sets while building authentic, trusting coaching relationships.

Malene Bell is the founder of American Heroine Sessions, as well as a writer, poet, and activist. She earned a B.A. from Morgan State University and M.A. in Writing from The Johns Hopkins University. Her work has appeared in Penn Union, Mosaic Literary Magazine, The Baltimore Review, Radar, 13th Moon, and Urbanite Magazine. She is Assistant Editor of The Infinite Field Magazine as well as a lecturer at Morgan State University.
